Anyone who truly knows me knows that I despise thinking on weekends and on any weekday ending with the letter “y.” Even so, tonight’s conversation with my kid brother about jobs and writing and passions and art have me wondering: What am I doing right now that’s moving me toward my life goals and fueling my life passions? Sadly, a resounding “nothing” is the only response swirling around in my head, and it’s raising more questions than answers as I kick off my weekend. I’m not sure whether my
annoyance is that there are so many questions at this stage of my life or that I’m thinking about them on a weekend.
